About Qurecynthia

The game in brief, with pictures to download. Back to the home page

The game

Wake up in Qurecynthia, a world out of a fantasy novel. One moment you were in your own world; the next there are cobblestones under your feet and the market town of Hearthcross bustling around you.

Fight monsters, gather and craft, and trade at a market where prices rise and fall through the day. It's a game you grow into slowly: levels, trades and gear take real time, and every new place is worth a visit soon after you reach it.

Towns with their own day

Stalls open in the morning, lamps are lit at dusk, and the townsfolk walk home when it gets late.

Places to explore

Head out through the meadows, Quarry Hills, the Moonlit Wood, the Sunscorch Badlands and Starfall Peaks. Each place has its own monsters, and there are bosses to find.

Two trades each

Every character picks two trades: a fighting class (warrior, archer or mage) and a craft like alchemy, cooking or jewelcrafting. Or two crafts, if you'd rather make things than fight.

A living market

At the Trading Post, prices rise and fall through the day. Place buy and sell orders, read the charts, and listen for rumours that might move the market.
